CCM Toronto Centre Legal Clinic

As a lawyer, friends and family often come to me with challenges in their personal lives—family disputes, workplace bullying, or difficulties with immigration application. These are usually outside my own areas of practice, but I have always tried to listen and point them toward helpful resources.

What struck me over time is how common it is for people, no matter their background, profession, or social status, to feel lost and powerless in these situations. Many believe that quality legal services are out of reach for them.

In response to this need, and to Chris’s calling, a group of Christian lawyers and legal professionals in Toronto came together to establish the first Christian legal aid clinic in Canada. The CCM Toronto Centre Legal Clinic serves low-income individuals—regardless of their faith—who need accessible legal assistance with personal challenges.

If you or someone you know is in need of such support, I encourage you to visit the CCM Toronto Centre Legal Clinic website.

Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.
Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.

(Proverbs 31:8-9)
